KI FLOW YOGA classes are back in APRIL

IM BACK FROM HAWAI'I, with a load of new activations to share and ready to recommence classes from a new location in Elwood at House of Three on Ormond Road right in the Village. 

I will be running 2 weeks of KI FLOW Yoga 1.5 hour "TASTERS" for people to come try out my unique style of Yoga, Meditation, Breath workand Healing, or old students to reconnect before launching into and running on-going 6 week blocks for the rest of the year!

"TASTERS" are;
Monday 14th 10-11.30am
Tuesday night 15th and 22nd 7-8..30pm

Any of the 2 week "TASTERS" Investment is $30 per class, and my old students are welcome to use there old pre paid classes from 2013

The 6 week on-going block investment is $168

This 6 week block will focus on the flow of divine feminine creation energy, in balance with the season of autumn, In chinese medicine we focus into the organs of the lung and large intestine and the emotions of grief and letting go.

Together we have a unique way of working with a person's body and blueprint on all levels. A session with us normally takes around 1 hour, and is done fully clothed, where we hold oneness space, so you feel safe and held.

KI FLOW yoga for digestion & purification

My first attempt at uploading a video to my new You Tube channel KI FLOW yoga

I need to play around a bit and get fimilar with the gadgets but anyhow here it the first attempt! 

In this KI FLOW sequence downward facing dog is used as an anchor shape, allowing movement and flow through the meridians and the body to stem directly from that shape.
The yang purification exhalation allows space to created, the breath leads the body.
Stretching out the stomach meridians and points in the feet helps digestion along side the inversion geometry in the body, making space for the internal organs.
The (Earth Element) grounding aspects of this sequence is absolute (although not standing) there is a connection in all the flow through to the feet, they are indeed an anchor point, flexing at times to connect with the yang back of the body and the bladder meridian, and tonification through the stomach points in the feet (ST 41, 42, 43, 44 & 45) command points for the Fire, Wood, Water, and Metal Elements, and also (ST42) the actual Source Point for the Stomach meridian itself.
Will assist an array of digestive issues, restlessness, facial, jaw & teeth issues and softening in the parasympathetic nervous system.
The Sequence finishes standing with prayer connection to Tanden in the belly centre point.

guilt & the hips

Today my practice was a form of Yoga called Yin Yoga.
This is very different from the 'style' of yoga I usually practice which is very yang in nature and powerful, Yin Yoga is much more aligned with the way I teach, and has the oriental undercurrent.
Working on the hips got me to thinking about how much guilt is stored in a deep emotional level, in the hip and pelvis, especially for women, this is something that has been 'agreed' on as a collective in society, so it becomes very obvious the more aware of it we become.
The Earth element in our bodies needs nurturing, it needs time to settle in, to find it's containment, contentment and boundary's.
When we hold a hip opener posture or shape for a time and breath into that space, it untucks and unfolds the holding pattern sitting in the dark places of the pelvis, if we follow the lead of the breath and imagine the light or sunshine in that space, reaching in with love and forgiveness and filling it up, it gives permission for us to 'feel' out the emotions - the guilt, it allows us to own it or not, to question weather it is ours or not? It gives us a moment in our 'now' to capture the freedom of which is innately ours, in our body, our breath, our mind, our spirit. And from the experience of that expression we can go back there again and again.
